<< Brief History
We arrived in Rupaidiha in 1986 and in 1987 after much thought and prayer we brought the idea of opening a good quality English Medium School before the Winklers and the elders of our Church and it was accepted. Thus was born the Assembly of God Church School. The Assembly of God Church Committee very graciously permitted us to use the Church rooms for classes.
We decided to go up one class every year. So we asked God for nothing less than a miracle - a new building on the vacant grounds of the Mission Compound. At this point Geoff and Pauline Williams who were very close friends came to visit us saw the predicament we were in and went back to the UK promising to pray far us. Within the next weeks we received a letter from them with the fantastic news that they had some funds for us to enable us to start building.

There was no looking back after that and the funds continued from known or unknown sources making our dream a reality. In 1992 we were able to shift the school from the Church Compound in the Bazaar to the Mission Compound.
Now was the task of bringing our school upto ICSE level (year 10). The first victory came when we were handed the "No Objection Certificate" from the Joint Secretary in Lucknow within a short period. Next we were able to obtain affiliation from the Board. When Mr. C. Innes from Allahabad came for the inspection he was touched and very impressed to see a school of such good quality. His report to the Board was duly submitted and the affiliation granted on 15th May 1997. Yet another milestone in the history of the school and yet another victory granted by our Loving Father.
Our first batch of students passed out in 1998 and today they are pursuing quality careers like computer engineering, advertising communications, medicine, medical transcription etc. As we did not have ISC (10+2) our children were forced to pursue their studies in cities which we could see was very taxing on the parents mentally and financially. Thus with prayer and a new sense of commitment we decided to take the school on to ISC. The Lord Jesus made our vision turn into a reality because with God all things are possible- and on the 28- January 2000 again Mr. and Mrs. C. Innes came for an inspection. Mr. Innes was coming after a period of almost three years and he was much impressed by what all we achieved in those past 3 years. And soon after in April 2000 we were granted Permanent Affiliation and permission to upgrade the school upto ISC (10 + 2). Yet another milestone for the school and a triumph for His Glory.
What started out as a nursery of 7 children has grown to College Level with more then 600 students. What was a vision for God turned into a reality.
